I don't wear my Rudy Rydon Reader lens glasses on a daily basis. My eyesight is pretty good riding out in the sunlight. Where the Rydon Readers become important to me is when I am racing. I can have as many as 10 data fields displayed on my Garmin 840 cycling computer. With that many data fields, the displayed info gets small and I need magnification. I use the Ryder Reader lenses with 2.50 X at the bottom. They are very much like bifocals for your bike. There is no distortion. They work very well for me. I run a masters race team and all of us love Rudy glasses, with or without the magnification possibilities.
I have 5 pairs of Rydon readers and wish you would start making photochromatic reader lens.
Theses are fantastic if you need help reading. They replaced my 20+ years original photocromatic lens. The Rydon Reader Racing Red lenses are actually a lot brownish then the almost pink pictures shown.
As other customers asked, please make a photocromatic version of theses !
I recently used the Rudy Project - Wing Helmet during the Ironman 70.3 in Goa, and it truly impressed me. Right from the start, the helmet’s sleek design caught my attention, giving off a professional, aerodynamic look. It’s lightweight and fit comfortably, which was important for a long event like this. Despite wearing it for hours, I didn’t feel any discomfort, which speaks to its well-thought-out design and quality materials.
In terms of performance, this helmet delivered on its promise. The shape is crafted to reduce wind resistance, helping me maintain speed with less effort. Even though it’s built for aerodynamics, I was pleasantly surprised by the ventilation. It kept me cool enough despite Goa’s heat and humidity, though it can feel a bit warm on extremely hot days.
The helmet also comes with a clear visor that provides great visibility and shields your eyes from harsh sunlight. It’s easy to adjust or remove, making it versatile depending on personal preference. Overall, the Rudy Project - Wing Helmet is an investment, but for anyone serious about cycling or triathlons, it’s a fantastic choice that combines style, comfort, and performance.
The Strym Z Bike Helmet is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for a lightweight, comfortable, and affordable helmet. It’s easy to wear for long rides without feeling heavy, and the fit is super adjustable, so it stays snug without being uncomfortable.
One of the best things about it is the great airflow—the vents keep your head cool even on hot days or during intense rides. Plus, it's reasonably priced, offering high-end features without the steep cost.
Overall, it’s a great value for cyclists who want comfort and performance without breaking the bank.
I am right between sizes, and I have purchased 2 of the wings. 1 large and 1 small. The small is harder to get on in T1 but the large was tougher to keep still, it kept wanting to rotate down on my forehead.
I love the visor. The magnets allow you to lift the visor with one hand and snap onto the top of the helmet. Visibility is pretty clear with great peripheral. I purchased the red Lense and use it 99% of the time.
Ventilation is on par for a TT helmet.
This is a great, fast helmet that doesn't penalize you if you can't hold the perfect position.
